Clerkenwell Design Week Photo Diary – Part 3

ImageImageImageImageImageImageImageImageToday was the final day of the festival, so I decided to take one last look around all the exhibition centres and showrooms to make sure I haven’t missed out on anything. One showroom I visited was of Camira Fabrics, where they were showcasing a coloration with textile designer Emma J Shipley with a new fabric called Titus and Tangled. Emma had produced a stunning pencil illustration of a famous Gorilla and the drawings was then produced onto fabric and then made into a chair and stool. The results truly are breath-taking.

One last visit to the main exhibition centre, Farmiloe building, where films such as James Bond and Batman are filmed, gave me a chance to just admire the architecture of the building. I have never known a building to have so much character!

All in all, I have had a fantastic week attending and being part of the Clerkenwell Design Week and I very much look forward to next years festival!
